As Project Manager of Design and Construction, Ignacio Herrera has been a part of the development of the Toyota North American Headquarters in Plano, Texas. In this role, he was part of the KDC team that managed the development of a 100-acre, 2,100,000 SF, seven office buildings, one high bay research and development facility, four parking garage structures, and a nine MW photovoltaic system. Ignacio is also currently involved with the development of Epic, a 290,000 SF office building within a mix-use project with a residential tower, and a boutique hotel in the intimate Dallas neighborhood of Deep Ellum, and the Dallas 24 Hour Club, a new 14,000 building pro-bono facility for a non-profit organization in Dallas, Texas.
Ignacio’s background consists of 17 years of project management including design consulting, pre-construction and construction services, client relations, budgeting, scheduling, and managing LEED and diversity program project activities. Ignacio completed projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area and Mexico.
Ignacio received his Master in Business Administration from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business, his Masters of Engineering in Hydrology from CEDEX-Madrid in Spain, and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. Ignacio enjoys spending time with family, traveling, playing tennis, and fishing.
