KDC EXPANDS LEADERSHIP TEAM TO ACCOMMODATE CURRENT AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENT

Development, design and financial leaders join KDC roster

DALLAS – KDC has hired five senior level executives to accommodate current and future development projects, including the recently announced 186-acre mixed-use development in Richardson, Texas.

Bret Creel and Jeff Innmon are vice presidents of design and construction, and Stewart Slack and Michael Alost are vice presidents of development. Rick Sweat has joined KDC as senior project accountant.

Bret Creel, vice president for design and construction, joins KDC from Balfour Beatty Construction where he managed the preconstruction team. Previously, he was with Crescent Real Estate as the project manager for the Ritz Carlton hotel and condo towers. Creel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas.

Jeff Innmon, vice president for design and construction, joins KDC following the management of some of the area’s landmark projects. Innmon’s experience includes managing the development of the George W. Bush Presidential Library on the SMU campus, the AT&T Performing Arts Center/Winspear Opera House and the American Airlines Center. He holds a Bachelor in of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University.

Stewart Slack, vice president of development, has worked with KDC since October of 2012 and has now officially joined the team. He started his career in Baton Rouge, La., and became a partner at Slack Bradley Miremont Architecture in 1982. In 1985, he partnered with Michael Alost to form Slack Alost, a full service real estate development firm in Shreveport, La. Stewart is a graduate of Louisiana State University.

Michael Alost, vice president of development, joins KDC following his role as founding partner of Slack Alost, where he and Stewart Slack managed more than $800 million of projects. Alost is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

Rick Sweat, senior project accountant, is a certified public accountant with more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry. He began his career as an auditor in public accounting and worked as an assurance senior manager with Ernest & Young’s Dallas real estate practice. Sweat holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from Texas A&M University.
