As KDC’s Director of Accounting, Scott Tubbs oversees the company’s accounting operations and processes. He is responsible for developing and maintaining the highest standards to ensure proper financial reporting and documentation. Tubbs also leads KDC’s professional accounting staff.

Before joining KDC, Tubbs was Elm Creek Real Estate’s Financial Controller, responsible for financial reporting, developing and maintaining internal controls, budgeting, payroll, income tax, and treasury. His 25-plus years of construction and real estate accounting experience includes leadership roles with Cypress Equities, Insignia Development Group, Archon Group and Walden Real Estate.

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and finance from the University of Texas at Tyler. Tubbs also served his country as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army. He and his wife, Vicki, have been married for over 25 years. The couple are parents of several adult children and many grandchildren.
