250-room, full-service suites hotel located near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport

IRVING, Texas – (June 1, 2015) – KDC, one of America’s leading commercial real estate development and investment firms, today announced that Woolley’s Classic Suites will be the latest commitment to join Avion Business Park, a 50-acre tract of land located along State Highway 114 and Royal Lane between Esters Blvd. and Freeport Parkway in Irving, Texas.

“KDC has been laying the groundwork to develop this high-profile park for a couple of years,” said Bill Guthrey, senior vice president at KDC. “The much anticipated completion of the frontage road on State Highway 114, along with the addition of Woolley’s Classic Suites, will unlock the true value of Avion Business Park.”

The 250-room, full-service hotel offers suites larger than the industry average with features like spacious desks, 46” wall-mount flat panel TVs, and luxurious baths. Amenities on site include a restaurant and lounge, in-suite dining, 24-hour gift shop and business center, flexible meeting spaces, guest laundry, fitness center, and complimentary airport shuttle.

Avion Business Park is only the second location in the country for the Woolley’s Classic Suites hotel brand. The first Woolley’s opened in Denver on May 22, 2014, near the Denver International Airport, and quickly secured a #1 ranking on TripAvisor.

Also at Avion, the American College of Emergency Physicians recently broke ground on a new three-story, 57,000-square-foot headquarters. The remaining 35 acres in the development are suited for high-profile corporate office campuses.

Construction on Woolley’s Classic Suites will begin in fall of 2015 with completion scheduled for winter 2016. The American College of Emergency Physicians headquarters is scheduled to be complete in summer 2016.
