If you catch Leydi Peregrino humming while she works, don’t be surprised. She loves music and singing, and both have played a big role in her life. Many of her core memories revolve around singing at different churches with her sister, or school choir competitions. She played the viola in high school and taught herself how to play the guitar.

Aside from singing, she also loves to read and write, which she tries to sneak in time for while raising her two daughters, Elizabeth and Sofia. The family also has two pet bunnies, Cooper and Queen.

At home and work, Leydi is known for being inquisitive. She has a natural curiosity and hunger to learn. “It’s like a fire that never dies, and I love feeding its flames,” she said. She strongly believes that no matter how much knowledge a person has, there’s always something more to learn.

“Positivity is a way of life; you reap what you sow. In the same way, a person’s attitude will influence the outcome of anything they take on from work to their personal life. I’d like to be known as someone who approaches challenges with a positive attitude, knowing that there is a solution to every problem,” she said.

Her quest for learning and her optimism combine to create the ideal team player. Her attention to detail coupled with her time management skills make KDC a great place for her to thrive.
