It is great to have market knowledge of your city, drive by a commercial development, and know the landowner, tenant, and developer.

She’s particularly excited about the opportunity to have worked on KDC’s 1.7 million-square-foot mixed-use project in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter market. “When I drive by the State Farm project, I am extremely proud to have been a part of such an incredible, transformative project,” she says.

The Park Center project is what initially led Shea to KDC. “After reading the announcement about the project, I reached out to KDC to congratulate them on being awarded the role as developer and to inquire about opportunities in Atlanta, “ she recalls.

Shortly thereafter, Shea joined KDC’s Atlanta office to provide marketing and administrative support, including new business efforts and sponsorship and event coordination for the southeast. She says the most rewarding and challenging part of her job is working with various personalities and clients.

Prior to joining KDC, Shea worked for several prominent commercial real estate firms. During her tenure with Richard Bowers & Co., she worked within the landlord representation and investment sales divisions. The transitioned to a marketing position with Roberts Commercial Real Estate Services and Brand Properties.

In addition to her work with KDC, Shea is passionate about interior design. “I have always been creative and imaginative; I love to walk into a home and formulate ideas on how to rework the space,” she says.

Shea is a native of Atlanta and an experienced equestrian. In her spare time, She enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family.
