Grove is responsible for the oversight of corporate development, acquisition, and financing activities for KDC and is involved with strategic planning and new business development for the company. He is also responsible for KDC’s daily operations, including all regional offices.

Grove’s experience with KDC encompasses the development, acquisition, disposition and financing activities for more than 33 million square feet of office and industrial projects as well as the development or sale of more than 5,000 acres of land.

Designing a build-to-suit project is creating a structure that is both functional and the best home for the client.

In 2018 Grove was inducted into the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and Real Estate Professionals (NTCAR) Hall of Fame. This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding contributions to the North Texas brokerage community and the commercial real estate industry as a whole. A native Texan who grew up in Dallas, Grove earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from Southern Methodist University.

Away from the office, Grove loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time in the mountains, skiing in the winter, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and playing golf in the summer. Toby is an avid reader, with a long list of favorite authors and genres.

Toby met his wife Dawn at SMU, and they are the proud parents to daughter Natalie, as well as their three dogs.
