As one of North Texas’ fastest growing financial firms, Independent Financial wanted to expand its headquarters at McKinney Corporate Center Craig Ranch. KDC developed Independent Financial’s Headquarters Phase One and is proud to be selected as Phase Two developer as well.
A six-story, 198,000 square-foot building, Phase Two will more than double the company’s existing Craig Ranch presence, allowing the organization to consolidate its banking operations teams while also accommodating future growth opportunities.
The building will feature a sleek glass exterior and expansive terraces, complemented by a mature greenbelt. Phase Two’s design mirrors the original building with six stories but will be approximately 20% larger.
Occupants will enjoy water-feature views and direct walking trail access connecting to the new HUB 121 mixed-use development which is set to open in mid-2021. Phase Two will have a state-of-the-art, full-service fitness center with locker rooms and a grab-and-go dining area, similar to Phase One. The new building will also feature a large conference center to accommodate town halls and large group meetings.
Ground has been broken on Phase Two with completion slated for 2022. The initial structure was completed in 2019 on a 10-acre site located at State Highway 121 and Grand Ranch Parkway.
