David Fisk
Executive Vice President / Design & Construction
When it comes to development, David Fisk knows a thing or two about big projects. He is a seasoned expert when it comes to leading large teams working on large buildings.
David joined KDC in 2014 after working for one of the nation’s largest general contractors for 18 years. His experience spans pre-construction and construction services including project leadership, budgeting, client relations, contract negotiating, GMP pricing, scheduling and team training.
We’re making a great environment for future generations.
At KDC, David is currently working on the 850,000 SF new corporate campus for Wells Fargo in Irving, Texas. He recently led the design and construction effort for Pioneer Natural Resources’ 1.1-million-square-foot headquarters in Irving, Texas. “The Pioneer Headquarters is a unique project for a fantastic client,” he says. “We’re making a great environment for future generations.”
David has also been an integral part of State Farm’s regional hub in the CityLine mixed-use development. He managed the development of a 500,000-square-foot, 12-story office building on top of a six-level parking structure. He also led the construction of a 200,000-square-foot data center in Olathe, Kansas and a 129,000-square-foot data center in Richardson, Texas.
Prior to joining KDC, David worked on a variety of facilities, from office buildings to data centers. Some of his more notable projects include: the RadioShack headquarters in downtown Fort Worth, Texas; Fidelity Investments’ corporate campus in Westlake; and the Dallas Arboretum Children’s Garden.
David received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University. He grew up in suburban Chicago, where his father was a Developer. David and his wife Julie have two daughters, Emma and Lucy.
David loves spending time with his family and attending his children’s sporting events each weekend. He’s also avid fly fisherman, both salt and freshwater. Recently, David has been perfecting his brisket smoking technique on his new offset smoker.
