In his role with KDC, Peter Ramstedt leads projects by negotiating contracts, leading teams of architects, developers, engineers and contractors and managing project delivery. He handles project schedules, procurement, budgets, permitting and construction administration, while tracking project financial performance, implementing project controls and overseeing preconstruction activities.

Before joining KDC, Ramstedt was Vice President of Operations at McCownGoron Construction Company, where he implemented business-unit strategies and leadership for the 40-person operations group. He was responsible for construction operations throughout North Texas, guided and directed teams on risk management and handled staffing levels, forecasts and works in progress.

He had multiple leadership roles with Turner Construction Company, where he led large construction teams, handled business development and engineered staff growth. While with Turner, Ramstedt oversaw projects including the 40-acre Warisan Merdeka urban development in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the 26 story 1200 Main “The Metropolitan Condominiums” in Dallas, TX. Since he started his career in the mid-1990s, Ramstedt has managed and overseen the development of headquarters campuses, high-tech manufacturing facilities and office space in the U.S., Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom and Brazil.

He received his undergraduate degree in building construction (with honors) from the University of Florida and his MBA in International Business from the University of Texas at Arlington. Ramstedt holds a Master's Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and is a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute.
